These conditions apply to "Ski package" bookings only and not to "Room only" bookings.•Packages are valid from the 05th December until the 31st March (Narita fixed schedule buses transfers only from 20th December till 10th March)•Ninja Ski Japan makes no guarantees as to the presence of snow or not, or as to the operating status of any of the ski resorts.•In any cases where the ski resorts are completely closed due to lack of snow, the amount paid by the customer for the lift tickets will be refunded in full.
How the packages work
• If your arrival date is 2 months or less from date booked you will need to pay both the initial non refundable deposit and 2nd payment as per the details on your booking form.•If your arrival date is more than 2 months from the date booked you will need to pay a non refundable deposit upon booking with the remaining balance to be paid within 60 days prior to your arrival. We will send you a reminder email.•Late payment of final balance may lead to automatic cancellation of your booking.•Upon payment of the deposit your accommodation will be held for you, and you will be issued with a payment receipt by Ninja Ski Packages Japan.•Once you have made payment of the deposit you will be issued with a payment confirmation and a Ninja Ski Package voucher confirmation.•Items such as lift passes , ski lesson vouchers, free drink vouchers and so on will be in a "Welcome pack" which you will receive on check in at the hotel.•Details of transfers and/or transfer vouchers, rental vouchers will be emailed to you with instructions upon payment in full of the package.•If you have booked rentals you can collect them from the Ninja Ski Rental shop in Echoland.
•Cancellation more than 2 months before start of tour - Loss of initial non refundable deposit.•Cancellation shorter than 2 months and more than 14 days before start of tour - 30% of package total will be retained as a cancellation penalty and the balance will be refunded by Ninja Ski Packages Japan.•Cancellation 14 days or less before start of tour - No refund.
Change of dates
•All change of date requests will incur a ¥5,000 admin fee. It is subject to the availability of the relevant accommodation.
•Hakuba Valley Lift Tickets are supplied with the packages. •You can use the tickets at Happo One, Hakuba 47, Hakuba Goryu, Sanosaka, Tsuigaike, Iwatake,Cortina,Norikura, Kashimayari and Jiigatake Ski Resorts.•You do not have to use the tickets in consecutive days. You may have rest days.•You may ski at the same ski area more than once.•You may ski at up to 2 different ski resorts in 1 day. •In the case that the ski resorts are not open due to lack of snow, the amount paid by the customer for the lift tickets will be refunded in full.
Ski area Shuttle buses
Shuttle buses are run by the ski areas and not by Ninja Ski. Depending on the accommodation you may have to make a bus transfer to get to a particular ski resort. Please refer to each accommodations individual page to see which resorts you can get to by shuttle bus. The normal period of operation is from the 20th December until the 31st March, however the Hakuba 47 shuttle bus runs until the 5 May. Buses to Tsugaike, Cortina and Norikura are ¥500, all the rest are free.
Mt Hakuba Bar Meals
If you have booked a package staying at Mt Hakuba Backpackers then your package includes a free bar meal every night at Mt Hakuba Bar. Bar meals are non transferable-only the person listed on the voucher can receive the meal. You are entitled to a bar meal up to the value of ¥700. If you wish to upgrade to a more expensive meal you will need to pay the difference.
