Yanaba is a tiny resort only but has 3 things going for it. Firstly, a day ticket is only 1,000 yen, secondly it has great views of Lake Aokiko, and lastly it has a great terrain park. Indeed the terrain park IS Yanaba. It has a number of kickers (the biggest 12m), rails, high box jumps, step ups and of course the mandatory half pipe. On the downside, it sits on the other side of the valley so doesn't get as much snow as the other resorts, thus opening later in the season, and closing earlier than the others.
