Iwatake Ski Resort
Iwatake is a medium/large sized ski resort that whilst it is not the highest ski resort in Hakuba in terms of altitude, is still very popular. This might be because of the great terrain park, or it might be that despite it's relatively large size, it attracts no where near the numbers that for example Happo does. Most of the terrain is intermediate and will suit a broad range of people. They also have a number of “powder zones”- ungroomed areas where you can get loads of the fluffy stuff during storms. The one drawback would be that early and late season it can be a bit sketchy for snow , because of it's altitude.
